In a video conference held on the 12th of March 2021, Japan and Morocco signed a Memorandum of Cooperation in the fields of land-use planning, town planning, infrastructure, and investment.
The memorandum is the first of its kind between the two countries.
The memorandum is set to last for 5 years and will promote the sharing of expertise, capacity building as well as good practices in the fields of planning and promotion of public policies relating to layout and infrastructure.
The memorandum aims to encourage public-private partnerships between the private sectors of the two countries.
