The FATF Confirms Ghana’s Removal From Their Grey List

On 25 June 2021, the Financial Action Task Force (FATF) confirmed in its update that as of 25 June 2021, Ghana had been removed from the FATF List of Jurisdictions under Increased Monitoring (Grey list).

The FATF highlighted that it welcomes Ghana’s significant progress in improving its AML/CFT regime. 

Ghana has strengthened the effectiveness of its AML/CFT regime and addressed related technical deficiencies to meet the commitments in its action plan regarding the strategic deficiencies that the FATF identified.
